Youth Leadership:
Ethics in Personal Development
This monthly lecture series will focus on how Ethics impacts our
day to day lives and guides us to conduct ourselves in a better way.
Rajiv Vora, born in a Gandhian family of Saurashtra in 1947, Chairman of Swaraj Peeth Trust, and founder member of Global Gandhian Movement for Swaraj under the guidance of Rev Samdhong Rinpoche, with H H the Dalai Lama as its supreme leader, has been part of the Gandhian movement for more than four decades. As a youth leader he was a close associate of Jaiprakash Narayan during seventies’ Bihar movement of which he was the convenor of the Satyagraha Committee. He believes that when we don’t have any visionary inspirational leadership and such institutions, we need to rediscover the inner meaning of Mahatma Gandhi’s root text Hind Swaraj, which inspired the change that never ever happened in the known history of human kind. He has guided international nonviolent peace keeping experiments in Srilanka, and  Mindanao in the Philippines.
