Ecology at the Crossroads: Restoring Balance in an Age of Climate Crisis

Dear All,

Tibet House, the Cultural Centre of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, New Delhi, warmly invites you to an inspiring and timely gathering:

Ecology at the Crossroads: Restoring Balance in an Age of Climate Crisis

The world stands at a pivotal ecological crossroads. Climate change, deforestation, biodiversity loss, and environmental injustice are no longer distant threats—they are urgent realities that demand immediate and coordinated global action. The ecological crisis we face is not only a scientific or political challenge but a deeply moral and spiritual one, affecting every dimension of life on Earth.

In response to this critical juncture, this conference seeks to create an inclusive platform for dialogue, reflection, and action. By bringing together voices from diverse fields—scientific communities, policymakers, indigenous leaders, environmental activists, and spiritual practitioners—the event aims to forge pathways rooted in ethical responsibility, social equity, and ecological sustainability.

The core objective of this gathering is to foster a holistic and compassionate vision of ecological restoration. Drawing upon both traditional ecological knowledge and cutting-edge science, the conference will explore practical and philosophical approaches to healing our planet. Special focus will be given to the wisdom of indigenous communities and spiritual traditions, whose worldviews often emphasize interconnectedness and reverence for nature.

The conference aims to inspire actionable commitments toward ecological justice and sustainable living, nurturing a sense of collective stewardship for current and future generations.
