Prof. Roger R. Jackson is an Emeritus Professor of Asian Studies and Religion at Carleton College, Minnesota, and a Visiting Professor of Buddhism at Maitripa College, Oregon. His extensive research covers Indian and Tibetan Buddhist philosophy, meditation practices, ritual, and Buddhist literature. With over eleven books published, including Rebirth: A Guide to Mind, Karma, and Cosmos in the Buddhist World (Shambhala, 2022), Prof. Jackson is a leading voice in modern Buddhist thought.
His latest work, Saraha: Poet of Blissful Awareness, is set to release this fall through Shambhala Publications, further solidifying his reputation as a scholar of Buddhist philosophy and literature.
