Buddha Purnima Day (Vesak) 2026

May 1 2026 @ 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM

A Sacred Invitation from Tibet House, New Delhi

Tibet House, the Cultural Centre of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, New Delhi, warmly invites you to join us in observing Buddha Purnima Day (Vesak) 2026—one of the most sacred occasions in the Buddhist calendar, commemorating the birth, enlightenment, and parinirvana of Lord Buddha.

On this auspicious day, participants will have the opportunity to pay homage to the sacred Buddha relics at the National Museum, New Delhi, followed by the profound Ceremony of Undertaking the Aspirational Bodhisattva Vows in English.

We warmly welcome you to be part of this sacred celebration.
