Tibet House, The Cultural Centre of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, New Delhi, is pleased to announce the 32nd Batch of the Tibetan Language Course (TLC), offering an opportunity for learners to study Tibetan through a structured programme designed for different levels of proficiency.
The course will be offered in four levels — Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Proficiency — and will be conducted in both Online and Offline modes. Seats are limited.

Monday, 30th November 2026 to Wednesday, 31st March 2027

A preliminary test will be conducted on 17th November, 2026 to assess the appropriate proficiency level of applicants. However, alumni of the Tibetan Language Course at Tibet House, New Delhi, who wish to advance to a higher level are exempt from taking the preliminary test.
Fee Structure
- Non-Students: INR 2,000 + applicable payment gateway charges
- Students: 50% Scholarship
(Valid Student ID to be submitted) - Monastics: 100% Scholarship
(Valid Monastic ID to be submitted)
The online classes will be conducted via Zoom, while students opting for the offline mode will attend classes at Tibet House, New Delhi.
This course provides learners with an opportunity to develop their understanding and use of the Tibetan language in a systematic manner, while engaging with the rich linguistic and cultural heritage of Tibet.
