Quick Overview of the Nalanda Masters Course

His Holiness the Dalai Lama blessed and launched the Nalanda Masters Course, an undertaking of Tibet House, Cultural Centre of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, New Delhi at Thyagraj stadium, Delhi on 9th December 2016. Also present were Honorable Union Minister Shree Kiren Rijiju and the then Delhi Lieutenant Governor Shree Najeeb Jung.
  1. Comprehensive subjects based on the rich Nalanda tradition of Buddhist Philosophy, in order to fulfill the wish of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, to make this infinitely precious legacy available to as many people as possible, in an easy and accessible form.
  2. Teachings given directly in English language.
  3. Teachings given by teachers with Geshe Degrees (the monastic equivalent of a PhD).
  4. Approximately only 20 hours of teaching per month.
  5. All classes, group discussions in the online mode.
  6. Highly subsidized fees, with further discounts for monastics, students and prior Tibet House Nalanda Courses participants.
